Spirituality & Technology
An unusual combo that could help in upgrading the quality of human lives
For the past 5 years, I have been working on my biggest life project which aims at helping people upgrade their overall quality of life. The format I chose to build this is a virtual ashram - a digital hub for people to learn, network, practice, and converse about spirituality, technology, and embracing both domains in one’s life. Digital, so that people can access this from anywhere in the world on any electronic device that has an internet connection; ashram, to simulate the yogic place of learning, similar to the ashrams in remote areas of the East, online.
If other online schools offer courses in business and technology, or yoga studios offer yoga together with a beer, yet another example would be apps that teach HIIT workouts and nutrition, we offer spirituality and technology in one hub.
For context, I recorded this introduction below for those interested in becoming a founding team member of In Silence AI virtual ashram.
We are a bootstrapped company, human-centric and deep in thought as to the inner workings of human consciousness and beyond. The kind of people we attract is defined by a popular Steve Jobs quote, which is one of my all-time favorites:
“Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
― Steve Jobs
The only difference is we don’t want to change the world.
We want to ignite the curiosity in humans’ minds to explore a new, radical way of thinking, so they can live, love, work, earn, play, and build better and more joyfully, in a new world we got thrust into. Whether we recognize it or not, it IS a new world we are re-integrating into after that 3-year weird period on Earth.
If this mission creates a collective of people and communities who radically embrace the two worlds, then maybe, just maybe, together, we can change the way the world operates.
